This Venetian Gondola Model was specially built by the plank on bulkhead method (joining multiple small pieces of wood like Rosewood, Mahogany & Teak together on the hull). The gondola model is built exactly to scale and painted as an original 1882 Venetian Gondola was with many details. The most famous and characteristic symbol of Venice is the Gondola. This boat represents a typical Venetian Gondola circa 1882. The model now is rebuilt without the roof in the middle of the boat and used to carry tourists along the Venice river in Italy.
